Since the realese of the Jester class on Dungeon Defenders many people have been trying to figure out the Jester class. Some have come to the conclusion that the jester is a support, tank, or DPS type class. At this point in time I would have to agree since the presents are to risky if you play solo, and if your new to the game. So I have come up with some tips for people who are new to the game or wish to play as the jester.
The first tip I have for you is to play with others when
playing as a Jester in Dungeon defenders. The reason for this is simple monsters can spawn from your presents, and can spawn ogres. Later in the game ogres are not to tough but for a new class an enemy with 15,000 hp is just to much for you to handle.The second tip I have for you is focus on damage for you Jester or health. My reasoning is that at this point in time it seems to be some of the better options for the Jester. Also the Jester can use many various weapons if not all the different weapon types in the game. Another big reason is the jester can weild 2 weapons and cycle between each one if needed. One of the weapon slots seems to be for ranged weapons, and the second slot seems to be for Melee weapons.
The third tip always place
the presents you do place in front of other peoples or your defense towers. The reason for this is because if an ogre spawns hopefully the defense towers you have will be enough to defeat it if not slow it down enough for you to kill it.The fourth tip on this Dungeon Defenders Jester beginner guide is for you to place presents in front of your towers, and if an ogre spawns you should get more exp for the kills. This can help you level up a bit faster. But make sure you can handle ogres or your team mates can handle fighting ogres first.
The last and final tip I have for you at this time is for you to never place your presents next to your Eternia Crystal I think it is called. The reasons for this is pretty obvious you do not want an ogre to spawn next to your crystal and kill it. Since ogres can do a fair amount of damage to it rather quickly.
